There is a light and it never goes out...

Hola Chums,

I hope you are well and Spring is springing wherever you are. I know it's Spring with us because of the increased pressure to get out in the garden. Gardening, or 'Outdoor housework' as I like to call it, is not one of my favourite things. Don't get me wrong, I love gardens, just not all the work that goes into them! Gardening strikes me as a woefully over hyped pastime, you wouldn't get a long running TV show called 'Hooverer's World', would you?

Besides that it is busy, busy, busy. We've been sorting out the Liberty's exclusive prints, and also found time to collaborate with the lovely Duffy London, I have known Chris Duffy for years (we were at college together), he is a hilarious mix of furniture designer and cockenee barra boy. His work is always inventive and he was very generous with his time and advice when I was setting up Double Merrick. So when he suggested we work on something together, I leapt at the chance. We took the 'Glo Canvas' wall light that was one of Duffy London's first products and produced a 'La Lune' and a 'Le Soleil'. It's available in two sizes:- 35 x 35 cm and 90 x 90 cms. Also we created 'Ampoule', a new design based on an old drawing of a lightbulb - available in red and blue. Just follow the links for further info and pricing.

Lots of love,
